Sloppy Joe recipe

Ingredients

450 g (1 lb) semi - lean ground beef
Peanut oil, for frying
hot dog bread
chopped onion
160 ml ( 2/3 cup) ketchup

125 ml (1/2 cup) chili sauce
Salt

15 ml (1 tbsp.) Worcestershire sauce

Preparations

Step 1πŸ€—

In a frying pan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Cook the onion for 1 minute.




Step 2πŸ€—

Add the beef and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until it has lost its pink tint.




Step 3πŸ€—

Add ketchup, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper and stir. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes on low-medium heat.




Step 4πŸ€—

Open the hot dog bread and put the meat on.
